The 113th Wing along with ten F-16's and 200 Airmen participated in the Red Flag Exercise at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Nellis is the largest fighter squadron in the world; it offers more than 15,000 square miles of airspace and 4,700 square miles of restricted land. This exercise conducted air-to-air combat training with every branch of service, over 25 different units, and included F-15's, F-16's, A-10's, F/A-18, B-1, F-22, F-15C, KC-135's, and a few others. The 57th Adversary Tactics Group controlled the USAF aggressors, which are specially trained to replicate the tactics and techniques of potential adversaries and provide a scalable threat
