News Release: F-16 Incident

A D.C. Air National Guard F-16C Fighter, assigned to the 113th Wing, at Joint Base Andrews, MD, crashed about 9:31 A.M. today approximately 6 miles from Joint Base Andrews, MD.  The aircraft was flying along with other DCANG aircraft in a routine training mission in the Greater Washington Area. The aircraft carried only the pilot.  

The pilot ejected and sustained non-life threatening injuries.  

As soon as additional details become available, they will be provided.

The 113th Wing, D.C. Air National Guard,  provides air sovereignty forces to defend the Nation's Capital and also provides fighter, airlift and support forces capable of local, national and global employment.
