JBA hosts 27th Pilot for a Day
O’Rian Jolley, The Check-6 Foundation pilot for a day, flies a UH-1 simulator at the 1st Helicopter Squadron on Joint Base Andrews, June 26, 2019. O’Rian is the 27th Pilot for a Day at JBA. When he isn’t working to reach his goal of being a US Coast Guard rescue swimmer by routinely swimming and learning about the career, he raises money for research and awareness of mitochondrial diseases. He does this by creating and selling paracord ‘Hope Bracelets’ and giving them out for donations to his cause. He has so far raised over $1,000 for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Erica Flores)
