113th Wing Change of Command ceremony

Brig. Gen. Keith G. MacDonald relinquished command of the 113th Wing, DC Air National Guard, Aug. 2. Col. John J. Campo assumed command during a change of command ceremony officiated by Maj. Gen. William J. Walker, Commanding General of the DC National Guard.
Col. Campo previously served as 113th Wing vice commander, 113th Maintenance Group commander, 113th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander and chief of Aircrew Training and chief of Aircrew Scheduling.
"Wing Command is the pinnacle achievement of an Air Force officer's career. It is the ultimate vote of confidence by one's superior officers," said Col. Campo. "Nothing is more meaningful, challenging, rewarding or demanding.”
