Capital Guardian Youth ChalleNGe Academy cadets attend a social studies class focused on Responsible Citizenship, a core component of the curriculum Aug. 24. The component tackles U.S. Government structure and processes, along with individual rights and responsibilities at the local, state and national level. Cadets must show improvement in eight core components: Academic Excellence, Leadership and Followership, Life Coping Skills, Job Skills, Service to the Community, Responsible Citizenship, Health and Hygiene and Physical Fitness.
